Obama likes Nuclear Power (click)

I for one, would enjoy seeing out politicians and experts, debate the pro's and con's of generating nuclear power.

I have never been able to understand why Premier Rann, will not even encourage debate on this issue.

South Australia has abundant deposits of uranium which it exports to the world.
If the argument to muzzle debate is because we don't have the population here to support an expensive power station, then I am sure we could sell power interstate?
We buy power from the Vics via the national grid, surely we could sell (nuclear) power on that same grid?

We now see that the US President Obama is calling for the stepping up of building nuclear power stations in the USA.
France I understand, has around 80% of its power generated via nuclear power stations.

Let's at least have a sensible debate in South Australia on the benefits, or disadvantages of nuclear power generation.
