Residents in a remote Northern Territory town say a camel cull is desperately needed, but the decision to go ahead with the slaughter was not easy. What is thought to be Australia's largest cull of feral camels is due to take place this week near the remote town of Docker River.
The mostly Indigenous residents say the wild animals have caused enormous damage to their town, sacred sites and water holes in the desert.............. Full story click header
