The physical attack on Premier Rann at a fund raising dinner is totally unacceptable in this country.
Whatever one thinks of Mike Rann and his policies, the ballot box is the place to show any dissatisfaction, not resorting to this kind of abuse.
Australia cherishes its freedom and low level of violence. One must hope this sort of thing never happens again and our way of life can be maintained without restrictions.
