Commonsense V. The Environment

I wonder if our state government will begin to treat us with some level of respect and start to consider the environment with some commonsense.
Why do they want us to lose our trees and gardens with all the positives that retaining them brings, yet not consider an education program on saving water inside our homes.
Saving water inside would not affect our decaying environment but certainly would help save the it.

The draconian water restrictions on outside watering are achieving nothing but destroying the once beautiful city of Adelaide.
Our government boasts of the "millions" of trees it has planted. But pays no consideration as to how many of them have survived, due to no regular watering regime.
Even in my council area of Charles Sturt, hundreds of trees have died due to their practice of only 3 years of watering new plantings. The drought is now 12 years long.
Saving water inside the home is the environmentally friendly way to go. But it seems to have been forgotten by our current leaders.
