Our Premier Rann postulated in The Advertiser on 7th. Jan. 2011 how "he feels good about making hard decisions if its for the benefit of the state".
The man is delusional. He believes his own spin now, when we stopped years ago.
I can't think of one "hard decision" he has made in his 9 years of government.
He's let us down time and again with water, he spun almost out of control with his grandiose statements of 'historic agreements' as the Lower Lakes died and became acidic.
Now the River Murray is in flood, he can't make the "hard decision" to help the Riverland farmers lift their water allocation from 67% to 100%, because doing so might upset the up-river states, and it would be breaking an agreement.
Rann rants on saying that if we broke the water entitlement agreement, the up-river states would "dud us" when times got tough and dry again. Well deluded Premier Rann, they DID dud us when times were tough during the big dry of over 12 years. And that was including the entitlement agreement that you signed.
Come on Mike, you are believing your own deluded statements of grandeur. You have made easy and soft decisions all your premiership. Only you believe there were the occasional tough decisions thrown in.
If you do believe your own rhetoric, about feeling good making tough decisions for the benefit of SA, then here is one that will have a huge benefit to this entire state.
Make the hard decision to resign your commission. Do it Mike. I know its hard, but it is for the betterment of all South Australia. No soft options.
South Australia will "thank you" in years to come, for that hard decision.
