Rann uses our money to get Lance Armstrong here. How much?

Really interesting that the Rann government uses our taxpayers money to bring cycling champion Lance Armstrong to Adelaide for the "Tour Down Under".
Rann refuses to let us know how much he paid Lance to come here, even though the Victorian Labor government published the figure it paid for Tiger Woods to play in their golf tournament. Thankfully the tourny was over before Tiger hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Premier Rann can not justify that the deal is commercially confident. He has also brought out former tennis star John MacEnroe to play tennis. So my question is, that if these types of deals are commercially in confidence, I challenge Good-News-Mike to publish the total amount of taxpayers money he is spending on bringing "sporting stars" out to Adelaide. No personal details just the total cost to us.

And is Lance Armstrong who does not even live here, entitled to comment and endorse Premier Rann as the best person to win the March 20th state election? Lance did not apparently even know the name of Rann's opponent Isobel Redmond. He is not up to speed on SA politics and has no right to comment on politics, particularly since we are paying him to come here.

South Australians are entitled to ask Rann, was part of the payment a condition that his 'mate' Lance endorse him to win the next election?

On Ya Bike Mike. Your use-by-date has expired. The spin, deception and half truths have finally caught up with you.

ICAC ICAC ICAC!
